    Rocker C windshield

    Good evening,

I have an 08 Rocker C. Looking to purchase a quick release windshield for long rides. Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

    Re: Rocker C windshield

ritz - first, welcome to the forums - what part of the country are you from?

I have had a Memphis Shades quick release on my Ironhead for over 10 years (13 or 14?) - the tinting on the bottom is starting to show some wear, but as I said, it is over 10 years.

Depending on the style of windshield you want and what you want it for will depend on how high to get one.  except for the newer designed curved tops, they recommend the traditional windshield lines up with your nose when you are in seat - gives you the most protection yet allows you to see over the windshield in rain or when riding into the setting sun.

the one om ny ironhead is a bit lower - about my chin or bottom of my neck - it works better as a chest protector than as something for my face (I still get all the bugs into my teeth)

    hope this helps

The first tool out of the box should be the "book"  Geeked
