 I am a first time harley owner who has not ridden for several years. With that said, what do you recomend for a maintence schedule as far as oil changes and transmission oil changes. Right now I ride at least 500 miles a week just to get to work and back then what ever I ride on the time off. My week day rides are mostly on the interstate.  Also, I have a 2006 Dyna Low Rider and have been looking for some foot boards for at least the passanger what is available? I have not seen too many options.  Thanks for your input.

 I service my bike ever 2500 miles.  While the service manuals sevice periods are 5000 miles, oil is cheap (used to be!), engines aren't. Fork oil, every 7500 miles, steering head bearings every 10,000 miles. 

Look at the Universal Floorboards PN 5500000. They will go anywhere a male footpeg goes.  

 Do you use the Harley - Davidson Oil? I am trying to find the best oil for my 08 Ultra Glide. Also is there a highly recamended repair manual on the market?

 The genuine service manual is what I recomend. Personally I use Valvoline oil and have for years.

 I agree with Xea on the change interval; but with an 08, I'd use syn & personally I like Amsoil,.

 we have about a half dozen board sets that will mount to the stock peg location, what exactly are you looking for??
