    Wheels and Fender

    Hello,

I have a 92 Softail Custom FXSTC.  I'm am planning on changing up the look of my bike over the winter and am wondering about fitament for a set of wheels, tires, and fenders.

I want to change out the stock fenders and wheels and go with Softail Heritage Fenders and wheels.  I am currently running a set of billet wheels, 21X2.15 in front, and I believe 16X3 out back.  Questions I have are these:

    1) What size are the stock rims, and the tires on a Heritage?  I've seen a ton of aftermarket sets that measure 16X3.5, but will those fit if I am currently running a 16X3?   Will they fit on my bike without any major alterations?

    2) If I do have to alter something, what might it be?

    3) Will a pre-drilled rear fender bolt up to my frame rails?  Does it matter what year the fender is?

    Thanks much,

    Mat

Stock for a Heratage the wheels are 16 X 3 with 130/90/16 tires (alpha numeric size MT90-16).

You will need to check clearances

most fenders come undrilled, but you need to pay attention to what model the fender is for as far as bolt pattern.
