    oil compatability

    I run Mobile-1 15w50 wt in my '05 fat-boy. I'm  about 500 miles from an oil change and I have a quart of Mobil-1 20w50 V-twin oil. Would it hurt to top it off with the 20w50. I've had it  on my shelf for a couple of years and I'm tired of looking at it. And I paid 11.00 for it!

     The majority of oils are compatible, Grease on the other hand is not!. Grease will clot and perform poorly when mixed with others.
