    fxr oil line route

On a "82" FXR shovelhead, there is 3 oil line barbs in addition to the oil pump. the pump has supply, return, and a small chain oiler barb with a screw adjustment. The one above the pump is the vent to the oil tank, what are the othe 2. Are they primary supply and return or just crankcase venting?

    Re: fxr oil line route

The top fitting is vent to oil tank, that may be T'ed to primary vent. The center is primary return. The lower is crank case breather. Primary oil feed is off the pump, with no adjuster screw. If that has been plugged off, and no vent or return from primary case, then the primary case has been isolated. It would take it's own oil supply, about 5-6 ounces. If so, the fittings on the back of the primary will be plugged off, leaving the small line from the center of the inner primary to hang down open, for a vent..
