I'm considering on putting a sidecar on my 71 FLH. I have an adjustable front end on the bike. Would there be any trouble mounting an 84 Harley sidecar if I used J&P mounting kit # 701-012 ? The sidecar frames changed but the bike frames seem the same so I was thinking to match the mounting kit to the side car instead of the bike.
Actually, its the other way around. the side car frames are very similar over the years, the bike mountings change. Select the sidecar mount for your year chassis and the hack will mount.
