    Clutch Hub Friction Disk

Installing a new 5 finger clutch hub on my old 4 speed...

am running a dry clutch and belt drive...

question is: do I use some kind of lubricant on the clutch hub friction disk, like a heavy grease, or maybe soak it with oil or ATF before installing... doesn't seem wise to run it completely dry...

or how about running one of those nylatron type fricion disks...? would that be better...?

    Thanks

    Re: Clutch Hub Friction Disk

Replying to my own question... doh...

As I thought more about it, I suppose the grease from the bearings will ooze out onto the friction disc, so I guess lubing it with the same grease will work fine...

Still interested in others opinions on the nylatron type friction discs though...

    Thanks...

    Joe
