REAR SHOCKS ?? 06 Sporty over Stock?

I have a 06 Sporty with stock rear shocks & go on long rides & I am 225 Pounds my question is would it be worth spending the money for better shocks?

Like 412 Sereis for $299.00 or 418 for $494.00 or 440 I.S.A $590.00. That is a big price range, but how much better would say the 418 over the stock rear shocks

give me ??? & would it be worth the money?

    THANKS

    Scott

I would start with as wide and comfortable seat as I could get.  then look at foot pegs (i.e. forward controls or highway bars w/pegs to give you an alternative foot location) and handlebar location - what is comfortable for your height and the new seat

When workin' on your ride the first tool out of the box should be the manual
