    Metal finishing

    Anyone know of any:

    * Quality cadmium platers?

           ~ Any reference listing items cadmium plated on 1959XLH?

    * Parkerizing kits/chemicals?

           ~ Any reference listing items parkerized on 1959XLH?

    * Any 6 volt stock Sportsters in Iowa I can go see for references/pics?

           ~ I need the layout specs for the Birch white 1959 XLH gas tank inserts.

           ~ I need the layout specs for the 1959 XLH oil tank decal.

    * Good source for 18" half hub cadmium spokes & nipples?

     I have an uncle in the kenosha,WI area that may know someone He has his own specialty polishing shop. Specializes in harly parts polishing.you can give him a yell at hogman@wi.rr.com He may know someone thats good

     as far as 6 volt early XL's here in Iowa, the National Motorcycle Museum here in Anamosa has a couple I believe. That would be an easy ride/drive from Marshaltown.

     

    Eastwood car care products for the parkerizing stuff.
