    Moving the grip point

Hi.  I have a Suzuki C90T and I need to move the grips about 3 inches back.  I have to either lean foreward, or straight arm the bars, neither, are very comfortable.  Moving them in a tad might be good too  But I have to move them toward the rear of the bike about 2-3 inches.  Should I use extensions? or get a different set of handlebars?

I'm no expert but I would think handlebars would be the simplest way to go. If you are only going back two-three inches you probably won't have to change the cables either. Just my guess......

P.S. ....or maybe handlebar risers? I'm not familiar with how your bars are attached at the front end.

captainjerry96: Using either handlebar risers or handlebars are both good options.. the risers are usually less work but somewhat limited to the actual amount of pull back..I know Barons offers a set of pull back risers usually resulting in 1-1 1/2 of pull back with about 4 inches of rise. If you wanted to go with handlebars you would want to measure your stock set up to see what the rise, width, pull back is so you could compare measurements to a new set.

I also have a Susuki and had the same problem.  I brought 4 in risers with a 2 in kickback , did not have to extend any cables, and it fit the bill perfectly for me.  I brought risers from Custom Crusiers and I got the ones with  a tech mounted ; real nice unit.  You can get jusst the risers themselves.  It is a beautiful way to go.   good luck

Hello and thanks for the info.  Would you happen to have a link, or a phone number?  Do you have the brand name and part number by chance?   Is that Custom Cruisers UK?  How much were they, if I may ask?   Any other information you have would be helpful.  Thanks again for your time.
