    2007 suzuki boulevard c90 bad vibration

    I installed dg hard krome 3" big straights exhausts , with the cobra fi2000r fuel proscessor . The bike runs and sounds great , problems with back firing and popping  and anytime over 50 mph bad vibration in hand grips and floorboards the faster I go the worse it gets I talking jaw rattling ! any help and suggestions ? thanks .....larry

     first of all, park the bike until you figure it out. sounds like you have two problems, the first one is just a matter of getting the fuel processor adjusted right. the second one sounds like you have a tire coming apart, a bearing going bad, a bent or broken wheel, or a suspension part going south, and that needs to be fixed before something comes apart and causes a nasty crash

     thanks for the advice , I made an appointment to bring it in the shop tomorrow.  i'll keep you posted :)

     got a call today from suzuki dealer , engine back fire cause : pipes i installed wern't seating properly against the head , they had to reinstall them . the cobra fatty bars i installed one side was loose : had to be retorqued . rear tire had a nail in it kept losing air pressure ,had 14 lbs @ dealer ,bike only has 2250 miles ,but have to scrap tire , so for all you do it yourselfers check and recheck your work with out the tire $320. to reinstall pipes and bars , new tire $280 .so life goes on...

     well, it could have been worse. tires are the single most important piece of equipment on a bike, watch em real close, and check the pressure often, a flat tire at 65 mph can ruin your whole day, even if you manage to walk away from the wreck
