    POOR MAN'S M/C LIFT

2 PCS OF 2X10 LUMBER 3' LONG GLUED AND SCREWED TOGETHER. ADD A 4'' WIDE PIECE ON ONE END. DRILL A 15/16'' HOLE THROUGH THE CENTER OF THE 4'' PIECE AND THE 2X10s. INSERT A PIECE OF 1'' STEEL PIPE 4 FEET LONG, THREADED ON THIS END,  THROUGH THE HOLE AND SCREW A PIPE FLANGE TO THE END, THEN SCREW IT TO THE 2X10. YOU CAN USE A PIECE OF CARPET SCRAP OR RUBBER TO PAD THE EDGE THAT CONTACTS THE BIKE FRAME. I USE THIS SETUP FOR MY 03 SOFTAIL, WORKS LIKE A CHAMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Re: POOR MAN'S M/C LIFT

Here how I lift my 06 soft tail, I lay a 4X6X12   longways and a 2X6 in front of the 4X6 behind the rear wheel then wheel the bike backards up onto the 4X6 then with a 4X4 under the kick stand place a floor jack under the bike with a padded 2X4X24" across the frame and jack it up. then place  a 4X6X24" with 3/4" plywood 4x4X24 across the front frame. lower the floor jack down alittle and there ya go another Poor man's M/C lift. it also works great.
