     what is the best virus finder , remover out there for a pc, i know we have a lot of good people on here that know about pc's

     I have been using and recommending the free version of AVG for years. Works great and is free. You can download it at downloads.com just search for avg free.

     I use Malwarebytes at home, seems to work really well and you can get it for free. just google it and it will come up. I also use firefox rather then internet explorer helps reduse the chance of a virus. That is also available free.

    I have to second the suggestion for AVG free.  I, too, use it on all my computer for many years and have never had a virus problem.

    AVG FREE 8.5   Its free and it works. My friend works on computers and downloaded this for me. It has a auto scan that scans weekly or what ever you pick. Man I was going nuts looking for something to clean up my computer, then my computer frose up. While I was looking for a good product I couldn't believe how much crap is out there that advertises that it is free,but its not. When they say its free to download it,DON"T. What they really mean is the SCAN is free and then you have to pay! Check out this product. just type in avg free 8.5 and hit search. Good luck
