    06 1200 SPORTY CUTS OFF

     I have a problem that just started for no reason-- it Idles fine put it in 1st & at 2800 RPM it starts cutting out (like no gas) in 2nd it starts cutting out at 2500 RPM then 3rd at 2000 RPM
    I have changed the plugs, wires, coil & no help which leaves the ICM my bike has been sitting out (covered) for the last 10 days & it has been very hot as in 120 everyday.
    & it dose cut out like the rev limiter is kicking in.  Also before this it rode great & I have made no changes.
    Any Help?

    Scott - what do you have for a fuel filter?  Have you check it for dirt? 

    When workin' on your ride the first tool out of the box should be the manual

    Scott,

     It could very well be the module. Under a cover, and outside, there may be a lot of moisture building up. Your local dealer may be able to check it out for you.

    I did talk to J.P. Tech Support & they agreed it is the Ing. Module & that on Harleys they go bad all the time. I think I will be buying the Dyna 2000TC P/N 382-290

    It just cost more & more to ride my Harley

    Have you looked into the Screem'n Eagle ignition Scott? They have a real good reputation
