s&s tuned induction complete kit 420-383

Im a bit of a novice when it comes to mc mechanics. I have a 2010 road glide custom and would like to install this  intake,s&s tuned induction complete kit 420-383 with a vance and hines 2 into 1. Are these compatible? What would have to be done after install? Will I need a power commander? Should I buy one or have the stealer do it? Will my bike need dyno time? Im really only concerned about performance with this bike. I dont want to misstep with this and have to redo something when I start making motor upgrades. Im in Ca. so as I understand it I cant use a fuel management system.   Thanks for your help. Jason.

Racer save your OME parts California may have a Motorcycle smog check in 2012.

Introduced in the Senate in late February, SB 435 targets bikes with illegally modified exhaust systems and would go into effect in 2012 if passed and signed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, an avid motorcyclist.

Racer, the 420-383 S&S Tuned Induction Kit and V&H 2-into-1 is a nice combination.  To get optimum performance out of the Power Commander V, you can either have the bike dyno tuned or add the Power Commander Auto Tune module.  This module will monitor your air/fuel mixture and adjust the PCV accordingly so no dyno is required.  We don't have the part numbers for the 2010 models in our system yet.  Please let me know if you'd like to place an order and I will be happy to have them entered for you.

Thanks for your input gentlemen. I got a message from Vance and Hines that they will be ready to ship mid November.

How would that intake compare to the Roland Sands Venturi? Just curious, are they all about the same? It doesnt seem like one could really take much more air in than another. These are both rather pricey options, not sure if its worth it. Thans.
