    wiring a panhead

Hey guys, thanks for all the info lately.I'm running a 57 pan with a softail style revtech kick/electric start trans.I am building this bobber  with a 12 volt system ,not sure what wiring diagram would work, here's some parts I want to use. 96 up handlebar controls, 12 volt generator with built in regulator, basic turn, tailights, horn, fatbob style console and electric start. Those generators listed say '58 and up, what is the difference between the 57 and 58, I'm thinkinking kickstart only in 57? Can some of you wiring gurus give me some tips, thanks again !
