I'm trying to decide which cover (and size) to buy: (1) the Nelson-Rigg Defender 2000 - M or L, (2) the Improved Guardian Weatherall Plus - M or L, or (3) the Guardian EZ - XL or XXL.  Suggestions for covers other than these would be welcome too.  My 2004 Sportster XL1200 Custom is equipped with a low upright medallion-style sissy bar with tapered luggage rack, a Memphis Shades "El Paso" windshield and Ace Leather saddlebags. I live in northern Virginia and don't have a garage.

do you have space for one of those tarp garages?  a 6x8 or 8x10?  If you have the space they would be a better choice - throw a couple of used pallets down to park the bike on - almost as good as a wooden shed (yeah, I am in snow country too).

As for choice in covers, I am sure J&P staff can provide recomendations (I am sure they have all the measurements)

Thanks for the response!  Unfortunately, I live in a townhome complex where the HOA would not allow such a structure.  I tried parking my bikes (I also own a Road King Custom) in the backyard but the ground is too soft to support the weight of the bikes.

 Get a Honda cover, no one will mess with your bike!

 Used to park my Sporty in my living room when I lived in my condo. Thank God it was on the first floor!!!

 I would recommend buying the largest one available.  I had a Nelson-Rigg once, and it was ok.
