    Cable to electronic pick up.....Staff?

    Is it possible to convert a cable drive type speedo system to one that will drive a more "modern" post 95 stock HD speedo using some kind of sensor and pickup....the one's in the catalog seem to be stricly for use with Dakota Digital indicators...for use on a '87 sporty if it makes a differance....thanks

    Yes we have part number 381-736 this will convert your mechanical speedo signal to an electric one. This part will work with any speedo, the problem is you will need some interface that will calibrate the speedometer if you do not use a dakota digital self calibrating speedometer.

    Yeah I've seen the pick up made for use with Dakota Digital......believe I asked if ya had one that would work with an electronic speedo from the MoCo.....thanks

     Ray, sorry I missed this. Take a look at PN 730-242 for a sensor. This will also require a recalibration module like PN 560-200 . Hope this is what you are looking for.
