I don't usually go to Halloween parties, or even think about it too much, I'm hoping some of you partiers might be more familiar with this.

Yesterday this envelope was at my front door from one of the neighbors, who I’ve never met by the way. It was an invitation to an adult halloween party, ok cool...a party which I figured meant be no children, however in the invitation they had a web site address to visit for costume ideas. After looking at the costumes site they mentioned, I went humm...I started to wonder what kind of costume party their planning on having. So now my curiosity has the better of me and I’m thinking…should go to see what it’s about? should I ask my other neighbors who these people are? or say screw it and just show up and have fun, but then what if it’s one of those kind of parties.
So here’s my question. What kind of party do you think this is?
and what would you do?

Tom - well, if it is one of the neighbours it would be within walkin' / stagerin' distance - one problem solved (if you have a few too many it isn;t hard to get home).

I took a look at the costumes - nothing special there - it seems all the "ladies" over 40 / 50 are trying to "turn back time" to where they wish they were and what they had wished they had done while they had small kids at home.

Braid the wiskers, get a flashy shirt at a used clothing store, pull on your cowboy boots and go as a pirate - you just might get a different perspective on some of your neighbours 

Go to the party as Obama Tom, They'll scatter quick. Or you could just go over there now and introduce yer self, and feel them out. Take them a bottle a shelf wine, and a bag a peanuts...

Iron...I don't know if I really want to get too much of a different perspective on what neighbours I've seen.

hell welych, an 8 shot? lol..I might as well just take the ol Gatling gun, but then again Cheney don't need but one shot and maybe a back up for the duck.

I like Irons idea. dye yer beard/hair black, braid the goat, pirate garb, flamboyant mannerisms, and go as the infamous Jack Sparrow...Be sure to get up close and personal...

Excuse me that's "Captain Jack Sparrow".

 Dress up like your fave biker from the 'Sons of Anarchy'. or your fave Disney character ;-).

Both are part of an elite membership affiliate of the Republican organisation. [:'(]

So Tom, how was the party?  Inquiring minds want to know 

I didn't go. went on a good ride, had a few cool ones with some friends so we just hung out at a brothers house, I didn't really want to dress up anyway... and anyway most of them were, well not my kinda people.

and yeah, I can understand - sometimes you want to keep your private life private

Nah not really, got busy on another project (not bike related), didn't stop by and finally noticed your question a month later, I didn't want you to think I was ignoring you.
