Foot pegs

I have a 2007 buel Blast. I am pretty new at the motorcycle game. My right leg cramps up on the foot peg while ridding. I'm thinking that either a Driver mini board or a Retro stirrup with foot rest will do the trick. Which would you recomend. If at all.

Buell engine in Sportster frame

I have an old Sportster Paughco drag racing frame that is in excellent condition. I want to put a Buell engine in it. How late of a model will bolt in with a minimum of alterations to either the frame or the engine?

I read that the Buell engine is very powerful, and overlooked as a choice for custom bikes. Harley doesn't publish their HP figures, so I was wondering how these 2 engines compare/contrast. I also read the Buell engines are very efficient, less polution etc... If I am looking for a old school custom bike powerplant which would be the better choice? good morning! as former moderator here on the J&P cycles tech forums, i was involved in a meeting this morning, where the fate and future of the forums here on our website was determined. the goal of this forum has always been and continues to be, to share technical information, and support the motorcycling community as a whole. we offer this forum to the general public, without exclusions. to further this goal, we have decided that the content of these forums is going to be limited to technical information only, going foward from this point today. no more off topic threads or posts are going to be allowed anymore. there are plenty of chat rooms and/or blogs out there for that. this is not a chat room, it is a technical forum. sorry, madmick, but it has been decided that the joke thread of the month [ my favorite part of the day] does not fit the new format of this forum. on a positive note, we are going to assign specialized staff from our technical/sales staff to the various forums, such as metric specialists to the metric forum, harley specialists to the tech forum, etc. hopefully this will get better information out to you faster. we welcome everyone to participate, whether you have a question, an answer or suggestion. my thanks to everyone who participates here. Buell mirrors

what mirrors would suggest for a firebolt, most of the designs that you are showing are for HD motorcycles, the Buell has two fixing bolt holes, through the fairing. Or do you just leave the existing small bracket and attach a new mirror to the swivel mounting point I do not want a buell factory replacement. Thanks Steve

Blowing oil on a 2003 Blast

This thing has only 300 miles on it and is blowing oil from the crank case vent into the carb. I done the all I can figure to do the PVC valve is good and it is not over full anyone one have an idea?

What does the TDC mark look like on the 1999 X1? This bike originally was fuel injected, I am now running a carb with Crane ignition. Can I use these timing marks with this ignition?

I can start this off. Recently got acquainted with the '04 Buell XB 12. Bought it on Ebay from a guy that layed it down on the left side. Well that caused damage to the turn signal,dash mount, headlight, oil cooler, primary case, shifter, and foot peg. Insurance totaled it, so the guy sold it with a salvage title. Anyway, I got another primary case on Ebay, and fired it up. Used channel locks for a shifter until I get the right one. The Buell is no match for the Kawasaki 12, but it does run nice. It is geared pretty high because you take off in 1st, and it feels like second. It has mucho torque, and pulls hard thru all the gears. The brakes are crazy! The front will skid if you are not careful. It's a great little bike, and so far I only have about 3600 in it. I'll be watching for the parts that got broken on ebay. Not much on there for an XB 12 right now.
