I went online. There are hundreds of parts for Sportsters, Dyna Glides, Tourers, etc. Even the new Crossbones has a section. But my V-rod?

If you want to sell to the V-rod customer, start stocking V-rod items. This "not a true Harley" garbage has to go. I see no reason to visit your store, or drive to it in Daytona if you believe my ride isn't a Harley.

Before you think I am overreacting, do this: Open 20 pages at random. Find the word V-rod anywhere, on any manufacturer. You don't even carry seats for my bike. And as for your exhaust systems: One. The Q for Quiet system. Yeah, that's a big seller for the fastest accelerating HD in production history.

Give us performance parts for our bike. Stock something for the V-rods, and the 30,000 forum members at 1130cc.com just might come back for a look.

New V-Rod Model for 2009

What do y'all think of the V-Rod Muscle?

new format

We're still gonna have a V-Rod forum, ain't we?

V Rod discontinued

Seeing how they don't (never did) sell many of them, how long will the MOCO continue to make this bike? Make no mistakes, the bike is very quick, it will get up to traffic speeds from a dead stop in a flash, I had the bike up to 100 mph for a second or two before I even realized it, it had no problem pulling around my 230 LBS. To be honest it runs like a Jap bike, there is no new technological breakthrough here, it runs and sounds like the Jap bikes that we have known about for years, I'm just saying, it is like a Jap bike with Harley Davidson on the gas tank. The handeling was ok at lower speeds, but the raked triple trees made the handeling unpredictable due to the rake and trail constantly changing, every time the front end dip's going down the road, the trail is reduced, this can make a person a nervous reck after a while, because the the handeling is always changing, I would say this could even be dangerous in certain situations. I think your average Harley rider would be disapointed when the newness wares off after buying the V rod, and long for the lookes and feel of a real Harley.

Title just shows year and model 45. Looking thru my books I think it it a WLD-the hinged back portion of the fender only has 2 hinge tabs. the 3 tabs on the fender itself. different than any others, I don't have the back part (still looking) also the bracket that bolts the back part is located higher than others. The aluminum heads are stamped 5-can you help to determine by this info I think it could possibly be a solo WLD (valance fenders) what other signs would I be looking for-it also has a solid orange kicker pedal, it appears very few made in 45 with the start of civilian transition. the left casing that has no # does have 8.0 on back where it mounts.

nice pics vst

anybody has some pics of a v-rod with sissy bar sadel bags and windshield would like to see them thanks
