Hi everyone,

How do you guys insert an image into your post messages ?

they ask for URL address?? what is an URL?

I've tried to upload my images in my profile and it worked just fine, but all i could do was copying the pic address as a link.

When the window for inserting a pic comes, i can't even browse to find it. When i copy the link in that box, it only shows an red X, but not the image!?

I cannot upload pictures. I tried enable avatar as well as disable avatar and the avatar url reads disabled. Does anybody know how to set this? I have windows Vista.

a couple years ago i put a name on a wish list so other people could find it like a gift registery.now when i log on under my e-mail address that name shows up and the screen name i was using is lost in there somewhere.i know the other one is in there somewhre because every so often it does show up.so just who the hell am i?

How come at home the photos would view correctly and here at work they are shifted half off screen and no text by photos at all,. Not a site issue due to working at home I know. But they used to be able to view at work with no issue???

Crane ignition HI 4

Has anyone run into this problem. I have a recently installed HI 4 under warranty, my mechanic says its bad. Went to contact Crane Cams and find they are out of business. I have contacted J&P to see if they will do anything. Anyone else aware of this?

being a neophyte at this game of customizing and understanding the ins and outs of being a harley owner i am perplexed at the amount of parts you need for one bike that cannot be used on another.. even in the same family.. at least that is the impression i am given when looking for, lets say, new slip ons for my fxsts.. all of a sudden there are pipes for the fxst, fxstc, flst, and on and on and on.. it's enough to give you a headache, really!!!! short shots, longs shots, 2"inch, what can be put on without changing air filter, jetting, powercomander, dyno, HEY! ALL I WANT IS SOME GOOD SOUND WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK!:)... well, i found out i don't need to do the powercomander thing.. or the dyno.. i have a carburetor on my 03 fxsts.. got screaming eagles, and just wanted to switch them out for some slip ons.. i looked for some vance and hines on this site but cant seem to find... i hear rush is good too? well, if anyone cares to chime in and relate or give 2 cents? 2 cents can add up.. thanks...

XEA, Could you inquire with the marketing dept. if they would reveal the parts availabe that are made in the USA? They could make huge gains with a little banner or flag in the catalog proclaming MADE IN THE USA! There are a lot of us that prefer to buy USA and are disapointed to open that box up only to find another "Made in China". Please let Mr. Parnham know I bet he would agree.

lost wish list

when changed over to new web lost all my parts in wish list, is there a way to recall that list because having hard time trying to relocate all the parts I had there like cable and lever kits 78 fxe. like the new web site just was alot easier to track parts down when there was a yellow tag next to it saying will fit your bike,,,, kinda took the guess work out. no biggie but would like old wish list back if possible.

the only thing that sucks about buying parts is buying them twice...

I never attempt to prep my ' 85 H-D Electra Glide.

At the present time I'm hand sanding with 800 grit sandpaper. I'm thinking seriously about buy a Palm Air Hand Sander from: HarborFreight

@ $40.00.

Need to know what are the differcultles in disassemble problems with the body parts of the bike ?

Whatever I have to watch out for and 'How 2's' in doing this prep work.

Boot fitment

So, I am looking for some boots. I entered in my bike info, but you do not show any boots that will fit my bike. I see some that I can wear, but how can I tell if they will fit my bike?

Ok, in all seriousness, I am looking for some boots. I have wide feet, and the top arch (the arch from the front of your calf/shin to your toes) is high. Before I order and start dealing with shipping, anyone have any recommendations on a boot that might fit? Prefer no laces.

Indians are back

stopped at an Indian dealer in Pittsburgh today. '09 indians are being built in Kings Mountain,NC. Was told the new owner of Indian is the same guy who bought (and saved ?) Chris Craft boats. Bikes look good, it has the new 105 c.i. Indian motor. Very pricey, start at $31k up to $37k. The Scout is due out in the spring. I wish them well, hope this time they can make a go of it. Gotta think it's a tough time to sell these things given their past history and a weak economy. Their website is www.indianmotorcycles.com
