    Motorcycle Salvage

I was just cleaning and ran across a list of motorcycle salvage companies, so I thought I'd share it. I got this list a few years ago when I was needing a replacement tank for a 750 Vulcan. I guess this list is about 9 years old, so some of the data may not be accurate. Of the list, I've only done business with Roadrunner. Enough of the disclaimers... Here it is:

Superior Outdoor Power Center Superior, NE 800-333-5161
    Roadrunner Wichita, KS 316-264-7253
    Mike's Cycle Salem, OR 800-327-7304
    Dump Denver, CO 303-837-9817
    Cycle Salvage Buntown, MS 800-352-BIKE
    Bushes Salvage Ogden, KS 785-539-8524
    Northern Cycle Beaumont, TX 800-428-1821
    Golden Triangle Cycle 800-256-4746
    Cycle Sport Center 800-545-2453
Cycle Recycle Co. Joplin, MO 800-722-8876
    S.R. Access 800-230-9112
Steele's Motorcycle Slvg Engelwood, CO 303-781-5339
    Eastcoast Quakertown, PA 215-529-4632
    Cyclepro's Bridgewater, MA 508-697-2611
    Used Parts 717-248-5970
    Dirt Cycles Salvage 508-478-5700
Cal ATV Pinon Hills, CA 760-868-6260
    R&R Cycle ME 207-736-3043
Havasu Cycle Havasu City, AZ 800-680-6621
Boise Motorcycle Slvg Boise, ID 208-375-7949 208-322-7949

Update: AndyJW did a lot of calling around and validated phone numbers. Be sure to scroll down and look at his updated list of M/C Salvage companies. He also has some web links to other motorcycle goodies, a dozen or so responses down from here. Thanks for reading, and I hope that one of these companies has the parts you are looking for. If you know of other M/C salvage yards, don't be afraid to reply with that company's contact info.

    Re: Motorcycle Salvage

hoovert, since his bike is an oldie, i copied/pasted this list and sent it to him for future reference. he got the mirror glass replaced at a glass shop. probably didn't cost alot either, so we can pass that suggestion along in the future when someone breaks one and is looking for a replacement. thanks again

thanks for the re-post of this info hoovert. i was trying to find it in the search feature but i couldn't remember the name of the topic it was under. i was trying motorcycle salvage yards, maybe that's why it didn't kick up for me.

Thanks hoovert. I saved it to a WORD file and emailed a couple of buddies who are always lookin' for used parts. Good info to have around.

    Re: Motorcycle Salvage

hoovert: When your list is as good as you think it's going to get, you might want to push it over to 'Sportster Lounge' and 'Tech Talk' (non-metric). Some of the guys won't link up to 'Metric xxxxxx'. This list has the potential of saving someones butt and $$$. SEE REVISED LIST BELOW! Edited by Andyjw on 3/26/2008 1:26:00 AM

Andy, great job! That Tulsa auction has some crazy old bikes going through. Never heard of the Tote Goat. I saw a few there from my older (younger) days.
