    Pan Clutch Adjustment

The factory manual for clutch adjustment on a 64 Pan only discribes adjustment with a foot operated clutch and mousetrap. I have the mousetrap eliminator. I can follow adjusting the cable. And I can follow measuring the 31/32 between spring collar and pressure plate as a starting point. The part that I can't follow is when the manual states that (for pre 65 ) the clutch arm should be touching the rachet top case. (doesn't help me since no mousetrap). For 65 and later,  the manual says the end of the clutch arm should be adjusted to within about a half inch of the electric starter housing. (I ain't got one of the those yet either).

So since I am running a tin primary with mousetrap eliminator , Is there another measurement point or maybe a trick that anyone could share in regard to the setting/adjustment of the pushrod screw and the initial clutch arm position?

Align the clutch release arm over the corner ratchet top bolt with the center adjusting screw. Once you are adjusted there, lock the adjuster nut down and adjust the cable.

Thanks XEA , that about where it ended up. I found somewhere else that said to just bottom the adjusting screw against the pushrod, then tighten it 3 turns and lock down the nut. That lined it up over top the back right corner ratchet top bolt like you said.
