    Seats?

WIfe rides a 96 Herritage softail classic original seat

She had major back surgery few yrs back 3 disk fused together in lower back. We are looking for a great\good replacement seat for her bike that gives some soft comfort so where she can ride longer without any back pains

The original seat is as hard stiff as it was when I first bought the bike for me and that was 50,000 miles ago.

Looking for any good ideas or seats you can recommand

She may also want to consider one with a back rest - for lower back support

When workin' on your ride the first tool out of the box should be the manual

I put a HD Sundowner seat on my Road KIng Classic and couldn't be happier. Very comfortable and a nice deep bucket makes sitting up straight easier. I have a compression fracture in my lower spine and a herniated disc and experience no discomfort. My next purchase will be a rider backrest but I get along fine without that now.

We have an after market backrest on the bike it attaches to the rear fender struts

We are referring to a rider backrest that mounts through a hole in the seat between the rider and passenger positions.

I would suggest parts #'s 800-282 with 800-908 (passenger seat). Or 800-276 with 800-274. both of these are Mustang seats with the driver backrest. Mustang also makes several options with out the backrest. I strongly recommend the Mustang seats.

My wife had lower back sergery and the Mustang seat with the back support did wonders for her.
