    61panhead

     I was timing my bike with atimining light everyone said oil would spray out when timeing i got a little oil spray out i could see oil on the fly wheel my concern is that i am not geting enough oil to the crank case when the bjke is running everything sound good i am new to the site any suggestion THANK YOU

     What makes the oil spray out of the timing hole is crankcase pressure caused by the pistons downward motion. You may have weak rings, and low compression. Take a compression test to determine that.

    or, it could just be a matter that the breather system is working really well, which would prevent a lot of pressure from building. there is no set formula for maximizing the breather gear operation on one of those, if it happens to be timed really well with the crankcase pressure, it would have the same result, not a lot of oil spray
