Does anyone know how to eliminate the noise that the speakers make...it's a high pitch buzzing sound...i can't seem to hear the music very clearly...and when I give it throttle the noise gets louder.
Is it an aftermarket sound system?
I am having the same problem on my 2008 sportser Which is an system I purchased from cycle tunes. I have installed noise filter at the amp ( I have the amp located at the front forks).But the filter dosen't seem to work. I ran the power straight from the fuse box under seat over engine and I suspect that is what is causing it. I am going to change this out to a sheilded cable and re-route away from the ignition cables. I will tie-wrap it to to frame under engine. If anybody has better idea let us know please .
Let me know how that works out...i may need to re-route my wiring...
Try running a jumper wire from antenna base, and, or the radio case itself, to frame. If that stops the noise, then install a permanent ground wire.
