Gold Club for Vets and Active Military

I am curious you give a military discount in the stores but not online like CycleGear does.  So why not with a valid Military ID, Retired Military ID or Veterans ID we be automatically enrolled in the Gold Club?

If you ask the agent at the time of your order we do have a code to use to give a 10% discount on select items for military. It is just not proactively given over the phones because of verification and unfortunately we have had some non military people abuse this. But for those who truly are just ask the agent for the discount code. Thank you for choosing J&P Cycles and have a great day on 2 wheels.

Like I stated if you allow military, retired military and vets to send in a copy of there ID with a mail in Gold Club Application then you have it on file every year.  Work smarter not harder.

Just so everyone knows, it is actually illegal for you to photocopy your military ID card.  There are other ways to provide proof of service, like a Leave and Earnings Statement (LES).  Don' be the guy that screws it up for everyone, or the guy that gets themselves or the retailer in trouble.

Here in Wyoming they put a V on your drivers license once your DD-214 has been varified. Would that work for you?
