  • Performance upgrades

I have a 2006 XL1200C. Just had a dyno done on it and I was told to go one higher on my main jet. I am now at 68hp and 73lbs. of torque. I don't want to do head or piston changes yet. What should or would be my best next step for a performance upgrade? I was looking at Andrews N-4 cams and Daytona...

  • Re: Conversion

I've had the conversion done, a local shop here had my cylinders bored out to match the new pistons, did nothing to the heads (would only really do some good at high rpm), I'm please as hell with it, a lot more pick up across the rpm range, no drawbacks as far as I can see. I'm thinking of...

  • Re: Oil Priming the sportster engine

I haven't got that far yet. Being this is my very first harley I better get more information before starting this fire-up and break in sequence. Wher can I find this information? I have spent very many hours working on this bike I'd hate to have to tear it down again because of my screw up.

  • Best Bang For The Buck To Improve Sportster Ride

GM all, I have a 2012 HD 1200C ride and I would like to know would I be better off buying a new seat(favoring the Mustang brand) or Progressive shocks & front fork springs? I'm thinking the shocks & springs would be best place to start since the bumps transmit all Sportsters suspensions imperfections...

  • Any help with Fuel Pack type devices for 2013 Sportster Iron 883

I have a 2013 Sportster Iron 883. I am gradually buying parts to increase horsepower and make it sound better. So far I have the Vance & Hines Shortshot pipes. Now my question is. What type of Fuel pack device would be best suited and what about the air cleaner? I have heard horror stories from the...

  • Vance and Hines Naked VO2 on XL883N

Just finished installing a naked VO2 air intake on my 2014 xl883n. I swear I followed the instructions word for word so should my air hoses look like they are squished between the backing plate and throttle body mount(pic attached)? Also I have the breather hose loop over the venturi. Wondering if this...
