Can a lack of back pressure (straight pipes) cause hard times kickstarting? Bike is a '53 pan with straight pipes,a properly jetted S&S shorty E, Mallory ignition,and every thing else is in order. There is no leak at manifold,timing is perfect,gas is good,battery fine,new coil, plenty of spark...
