    THE FIX WAS --------------- I had those spark plug covers (which goes ove the head bolts) it turns out that I cut the boots about 3/16 to short. This caused the spark plugs to short out so only 1 cyclender was working at a time. I fixed the gap from the boot to the cover & it runs like a champ. ...

  • THANKS GUYS-BACKFIRING GONE FOR GOOD ( I HOPE)

    After replacing the intake manifold seals 600 miles ago ( which you guys told me the problem was the intake seals) I replaced the seals with J.P. Blue Seals (Which were very thick & strong) as well as the J.P. Flanges (not cast but strong steel) And now my 06 1200C Sporty is running perfect !!!!...

    Thanks I fixed it the problem was at the top of the oil cover there is another cover that guids the dip stick in. Mine was bent which let oil out each time I hit a bump.     I have a California Sporty 1200 06 the problem I was having was just as if the Rev limiter was kicking in at 2000 RPM.     I did talk to J.P. Tech Support & they agreed it is the Ing. Module & that on Harleys they go bad all the time. I think I will be buying the Dyna 2000TC P/N 382-290 It just cost more & more to ride my Harley Thanks Scott
