  • Music options for Yamaha V-Star 1100?

I want to add a sound system to my 2002 Yamaha V-Star 1100. Any suggestions? It's hard to narrow down the choices available from J&P. I have an ipod, so I can go that route. Need speakers and power. Hard to determine what is best. Anyone have some experience they can share? Thanks

  • Yamaha V Star 13300 - Air Cleaner

I have a 2007 V Star 1300, which has the V & H two into one pipe and a FuelPak management unit on it. Any suggestions about the need to upgrade air intake would be most welcome, along with recommendations as to what the best product/s are. eg hypercharger etc.

  • Re: Sterling Chromite Cable.

I finally found the Sterling number that I need for the throttle cable. The Magnumshielding.com number is 833173-Y. That is for the +3 throttle. I don't want to go with other brands since all my cables other cables are Sterling. It seems the only ones JP doesn't carry are the choke and the throttle...

  • '04 V Star 1100 - Motor "Ticking"

I recently bought my V-Star after not having a bike for the past 8 - 10 years. I took it in to have the full 4,000 mi. service work done and have the valves checked to see if they needed to be adjusted. the mechanic said he did adjust the valves and they were very tight. Now once the bike warms up it...

  • V Star 1100 valve noise

I read teh posting about someone having problems with valve noise in their V Star, so I wanted to take another shot at the problem with some (hopefully more) input. I recently had mine tuned up as well, but I had some minor tapping noise before I took it to the shop (local and privately owned) for a...

  • Bad Boy air horn

Will the Bad Boy air horn fit a 2006 Yamaha VStar 650 Classic? The "fitment" mentions every other 2006 Yamaha bike but not this one. If it does fit in the stock location, do I need a relay? Thanks, Al
