I have an opportunity to buy a 72 sportster. Runs well, in fair to good condition. Has had some engine work. Any idea on the value?

  • Front brake shoes rubbing disk harder than normal

I purchased a RC Components wheel (Saber cast wheel 21"*2.15")for my XL Custom. The front brake shoes seem to rub on the disk harder than normal. I would like to know when buying a new wheel if you have to shim the brake caliper out? To center up the disk between the brake shoes. RC did not send any instructions with the wheel so I'm unsure if this is normal till the shoes get worn in to the new wheel.

  • front spacer

steve- when i installed my 160, i had to machine a spacer for the front sprocket. does someone make a .200 spacer for the secondary drive shaft? its a 2000. i think it would be easier to have slipped on a premade spacer than have to make one.

  • Slip On's

I have screaming eagle I's. Are screaming eagle II's any better. If not what are the best slip on available for my 98 1200S Sportster. I am upgrading my air cleaner(screaming eagle)to the Kuryaken Hypercharger. What are the best pipes I should be using to take advantage of the increased air intake.
