  • saddlebags for 1200S

Any recommendations on saddlebags and the bracket to fit on a 2000 1200S. The gas cartridge on the back limits the style of bags to buy?

  • dual front brakes

Bought a used 2000 XLH1200S with dual front disc brakes. The brake pads rub during normal travel, sounds like the pads are barely touching the metal. Dealer said this was normal but common sense tells me otherwise. Anyone have the same thing or how do I fix it?

  • Oil Tank Vent Line???

Recently I installed a horseshoe oil tank (J-P Part number 12-572, Chrome horseshoe tank) on my 1970 XLCH Sporty. Shortly after the installation my bike started leaking oil underneath, while running, pretty bad (not the typical leaks that the older Sporties are know for). Anyway, the oil tank vent line connects to the motor behind the kicker-cover, next to the oil supply line. I assume the vent line is equalize the pressure in the oil tank, to keep from creating a vacuum when the oil is cooling and

I am lookind for the easiest modifications at the moment as I plan on installing a Hypercharger.... Let me know what you all think! P.S. Since I brought up the Hypercharger, can anyone recommend a good manufacturer

  • Y Accessory Harness--Hot?

I just installed a HD Engine Cooling Fan on an 2001 Ultra Classic. I plugged a Y accessory switch harness into one in front of battery. It also connects to Brake light/spoiler on tourpack. QUESTION: Is it hot (power to it) so that the fan will come on as it is now when thermostat tells it to? Or, must I turn on the accessory switch on the dash to make it hot (power to it)? What is confusing is that rear spoiler is hot irregardless of that accessory switch.
