Remove the negative battery cables, clean the terminals, lugs, posts and cable ends. A year and a half is plenty of time for corrosion to ruin the connections.

Xea, Ya mean I actually picked a winner (charging systems)? First time for everything, I guess...

The Race Tuner (SERT) re-programs the ECM that is already on your bike. The PC-III is an additional box that modifies the signal coming from your bike's ECM. The problem you would have is this: the SERT has altered your stock program, so the PC-III would be altering an already altered signal. The PC-III programs work with specific stock ECM programs - stock, Stage 1, Stage 2, etc. To use the Power Commander, you'll have to undo the custom SERT program from your dyno run. Next, get the the

This might seem obvious, but be sure that the set screw is cranked down good and tight. I thought I had stripped the splines in the lever one time and discovered that the set screw was very loose. The screw was hard to turn even when backed out a few turns. Seemed like it was tight, but it was not. Might be possible to remove the pawl by only taking off the tranny top cover - can't remember for sure. If you do need to pull the primary, get one of those extended transmission nut sockets.

Yes, you can turn the rear wheel by hand in 20 degree temperatures as long as the wheel is off the ground. It will be easiest if you take out both spark plugs and put the bike in 5th or 6th gear. Cost in additon to the M-6 will be for a new primary cover gasket and a quart of your preferred primary lube. Be sure to Blue Loc-Tite the cover screws and don't torque them past 120 inch-lbs. The install could take a couple hours if you haven't done it before - no fun in 20 degree temps, but it

I've never cared for the look of those Hyperchargers. People I know who have them think that they work well. Both of those intakes will flow more air than the stock Harley air cleaner. This will make your already lean factory mixture worse. You are going to need an HD stage 1 ECM upgrade, a Vance & Hines Fuel Pak, Power Commander, or similar to adjust your Fuel injection for the new intake. Just something to consider while you plan your upgrades.

I've had great luck with Odyssey batteries in my Road King, but they are pricey.
