    maybe check and make sure your fuel cap is properly vented.thats the first thing that comes to mind anyway

    well if i had it apart, i would. i just know i dont have that size socket, and was wanting to get it ordered from "snap-on" and have it on hand so when i got ready to tear down the motor i would have it

    hi guys. does anyone know off-hand what size socket it takes for that big 'left-hand' threaded nut thats on the primary side is??? its on a 74 shovel. any help would be greatly appreciated

    hi guys. i have a 74FLH and i bought mine from SAMS CLUB for 59.00. works really great and is rated 1500 lbs.think the model was 'larin'. been doing a fine job for 5 yrs.anyway.

    thanks for the input nowhereman.i was hoping i would get a response from you. i've read a lot of your comments on here,and really enjoy your opinions on here. also when running dual plugs, i take it you have to have an extra coil i'm guessing? also are their any other parts i would have to have? once again, thanks for your help.

    hi guys! have a 74FLH, just wondering if there is much advantage of running dual plugged heads on my ride. any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks for all the input men,greatly appreciate that. guess i maded the right move by installing the domed pistons. did a complete top end because of the low compession [bad rings] among many other things that greatly needed attention. they said the bearings and all on the bottom end were o.k. and within tolerances,so did a complet top end with great results. again thanks much for the input !!!!

    hi guys!! just wanted some input on which is better.have a 74FLH that had flat topswhen i bought it but compression was so bad didnt ride it when those were in since had complete top end and had domed ones installed.just wondered if i did the right thing??

    well guess ill put my 2cents in here.ive had very good luck with interstate also. way above average than most cheapies like wal mart and the such. i really think a battery lasts much longer with the 'battery-tender' also. makes a world of difference.
